I was a bit hesitant on this product having few reviews, but glad I followed through. Assembly was fairly simple. Make sure you measure the narrowest part of your frame if you’re internally mounting it as I didn’t and ended up having the chisel the wall. There’s a feature that causes an upper limit to be set and I accidentally triggered it during installation but after reaching out to the service they helped me figure it out quickly - this should be more clearly documented. All in all a good product.
The remote controlled skylight shade is as it appears on the site. We bought an espresso fabric. It keeps the sun out by doesn’t totally darken the room. The remote works very well since is is in a skylight I’m not sure how I’ll reach up to charge it when the time comes. We measured about a half inch smaller to be sure the frame would fit, so I bought a piece of molding to go around the entire frame. Assembly and installation took about two hours with my handyman. Looks and works fine.
Does a great job of blocking out light so we can sleep in when the sun come up at 4:30 a.m. during the summer! Our application was a skylight in a cathedral ceiling bedroom. We did not have easy access to 120V power in the attic so we ordered the DC version with a solar panel. So far so good with closing at night and opening in the morning. Looks great and has quiet operation. The photo is on a cloudy day about 1/2 open. It was an install 14' in the air so I would strongly suggest making sure it work as it should on the table before lifting it into place!

Beautiful skylight shades. Totally in love with it. Installation was a little bit challenging, but once we watched the video it all came together. It looks great in my living room. It opens and closes with a breeze. Would highly recommend it to anyone. The seller made sure to contact me before the product arrived to make sure the measurements were correct and also offered to assist if needed. Can’t ask for a better product. Looking to later buying another for my bathroom once we get it redone
